Yurko Vovkohon

Is a culture manager and organizer of art projects and festivals. He is also the manager of the Ukraine – Terra Incognita opera-myth and the director of the Vypchyna. A Village of One Day documentary film. In addition, he is a project manager at the YMCA Lviv NGO. In the past, he was a journalist for the Postup newspaper, a press secretary for the Dzyga Art Association, and the author of the comedic radio show Irony of the Day on Radio 24. In 2014–2015, he fought as a member of the Right Sector Volunteer Ukrainian Corps; from March 1, 2022, to August 3, 2023, he served in the 80th Air Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. On June 30, 2022, he was seriously wounded while defending Lysychansk. On August 17, 2022, he was awarded by the President of Ukraine with the Order For Courage, Third Class.
