Oleh Shpudeiko and Alexey Shmurak are Ukrainian composers and sound artists working together since 2013. Oleh specialises in electronic music, reimagining early music in modular synthesis. Alexey explores classical music, genre borders, nostalgia, deconstruction and humour. The duo is interested in acoustic ecology and rethinking traditional music forms. Their output includes sound and audiovisual installations, educational podcasts, videos, lectures and essays. Alexey and Oleh's first joint studio album, Liebestod, will released in November 2023 on the Kyiv Dispatch record label.
