ZASXID (the artist walk) Artist walk and presentation by Vova Vorotniov

Vova Vorotniov’s event focuses on his walking practices, namely the “За/Схід“(2017) project as well as related works. Vorotniov undertook a one-month, 1000km walk from the western part of Ukraine to the eastern region of Donbas, where the country had its frontline since 2014. The purpose of this journey was to deliver a piece of coal from one mining area to another. As a symbolic gesture, the artist proposes a trip from East to West Berlin, crossing the former Berlin Wall, before presenting his practice. The event starts at 6.30pm at Between Bridges and ends at DAAD Artists-in-Berlin Program at daadgalerie where we will come together one last time during the exhibition period, for a presentation by Vorotniov and for drinks afterwards.
