Telling about his artistic practice, artist Oleksa Konopelko describes it as a transcendental psychedelic revelation, a sense of horror combined with fanaticism and naive joyfulness. Invited to Uzhhorod by Sorry, No Rooms Available, he settled in the country house of the grandmother of one of the residency’s friends upon arrival. This picturesque refuge among the wilderness became a center of solitude for the artist, a place to construct his own fictional worlds. Poetry and music videos became the results of the artist's stay in this environment. The experience of immersion, intense interaction and, as a result, overcoming the fear of nature through mysticism and ritual practices, become an opportunity to restore the lost emotional resource.
